Plus Size Pattern Available!

I love going all in. Lol! I was determined to make this jumpsuit for vacation (December 2017). Again, not something a normal beginner would reach for.
I did enlist some help with this one and it turned out okay. Anything wearable is okay in my book. This jumpsuit pattern is by one of my favorite designers and sewing enthusiast.
Pattern: Simplicity 8426
Pattern Size: 10-18
View: A
Fabric: Stretch Crepe
Cut Size: 18
Modifications: No lining in the bodice.
Likes: The Fit, Side Pockets
Dislikes: Pant Leg Width
Conclusion: I love the fit of this jumpsuit and learned that I can cut one size smaller overall. I would also like to figure out how to bring the leg width. Perhaps once I go down a size that will bring it in little. I would also like to use a slightly lighter weight fabric. I did not realize how heavy stretch crepe is.
There are some construction processes in this one that may be overwhelming for a beginner to accomplish alone. I do suggest having a more experienced seamstress on standby. It calls for lining in the bodice, which I omitted and an invisible zipper. The invisible installation isn’t too bad as long as you remember to not get the zipper all twisted. I think I had to redo this one three times before I got it right.
It’s an added bonus that this pattern is available in plus sizes. Pick it up before it’s out of print.. You won’t regret it.
Would I make this again? Yes. I just picked up some inexpensive fabric and I think this jumpsuit would be great for it. Maybe, I’ll do a comparison shot to see how my skills have improved.
