Moving on to bigger and better things.

I’m the type of person that loves to take the non-beginner route. Hence, the reason I completed a dress that doesn’t fit (courtesy of these full hips).
I was at the point where I really wanted something I could wear that was #MeMade so I picked up a pattern for…wait for it…$.99. Yes, the Big Four patterns were once offered on sale for $.99 in the US. They’re now $1.99. Still good. Below are my thoughts. Enjoy!
Pattern: Simplicity 1369
Pattern Size: 14-22
View: C
Fabric: Quilting Cotton
Cut Size: 16
Modifications: None
Likes: The Fit, the length and the pockets
Dislikes: None
Conclusion: This was an easy make for a beginner. Whew! Thank goodness.
I’d have to say the toughest parts was the zipper installation and finishing off the waistband. The skirt looks like the envelope photo. I absolutely love the pockets (I just love pockets).
Would I make this again? Over and Over. Classic cut skirt that will never go out of style.
