Can I Get My Time Back!!

Challenge…I love a challenge. However, I will not be wearing this. It’s just not me.
This is a faux fur, hooded jacket that wears more like a shawl from my viewpoint. There are so many modifications I would make to this that it’s not even work me giving it another shot.
Below are my thoughts. Enjoy!
Pattern: McCalls 7511 Learn to Sew
Pattern Size: S-M-L
View: A
Fabric: Faux Fur and Satin
Cut Size: M
Modifications: None
Likes: The overall length and sleeve length
Dislikes:Hood, pocket style and location
Conclusion: From a construction standpoint, this was a somewhat easy make for a beginner. Joining the lining to the exterior at the sleeves was hard for me. I kept getting the sleeves twisted. I also hate slip stitching so it was quite sometime before I got that done. Basically, this jacket sat for awhile.
Working with the faux fur and satin was not difficult. WARNING! The faux fur does get messy and I suggest you use a machine with walking foot and cut and sew in a room without carpet.
Almost complete!
Complete.
Inside.
Would I make this again? No. This style just doesn’t do anything for me.
