Drawstring Backpacks This backpack is amazing. It may seem small on the outside but it is definitely much “Bigger on the Inside”.
This is a great beginner pattern if you can manage installing zippers and making buttonholes.
The pattern calls for the straps to be made from fabric; however, I found it easier and less time consuming to use paracord. I have made this bag with and without the inner pockets, but never do I omit the exterior zipper pocket. Along with it’s size, that is the best feature of the bag.

Presser Feet: 1C Reverse Pattern, 3A Auto Buttonhole, 4 Zipper, 10C Edgestitch
Needle: Denim 90/14
Fabric: Cotton, Duck Canvas, Home Decor

No extra stabilizer needed except for the bottom.
